Rolling Mill Manufacturer Sets Up North American Subsidiary

The subsidiary, REDEX of America LLC (RofA), is based in Swedesboro, N.J., about 25 miles from Philadelphia, Pa., USA. The staff there is being tasked with building new relationships in the U.S., Mexico and Canada and with expanding on existing ones with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.

“We want to offer more efficient service than ever to our North American customers. North America is a strong market for us, and we believe in its outstanding potential,” said Gilles Ruffinoni, REDEX of America president and a REDEX board member.

“Through RofA, we can begin to take advantage of opportunities to better serve our customers,” he said.

REDEX builds cold rolling mills, tension leveling lines, slitting lines, and laser-closed flux-cored welding lines used in metal strip and wire production. It has three production plants in France and Germany, and exports more than 90 percent of the machinery it builds at those locations.

The company said that having a U.S. presence will give customers greater access to technical sales representatives and its electrical and mechanical engineers.
