The company is also on track to start cold commissioning later this month of its new electric arc furnace and other steel refining and casting operations at the Lorain, Ohio, plant with production expected to ramp up during the 4th Quarter of 2013.  This US$85 million capital project will provide more than 1 million tons of liquid steel for the production of bloom and billet cast semi-finished, bar and coil products, and will ultimately create nearly 450 full time jobs over the next several years.
