Report: U.K. Government Discussing Aid Package for Tata Steel
09/05/2023 - Tata Steel is in advanced talks with the U.K. government on an aid package that would provide the steelmaker with GBP500 million, reports Sky News.
According to Sky News, Tata Steel additionally would commit to investing GBP700 million in its U.K. operation over several years and transition to electric arc furnace steelmaking.
