Report: SAIL, ArcelorMittal Consider Joint Offer for Indebted Steelmaker
01/09/2018 - ArcelorMittal and the Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) reportedly are weighing a joint bid for India’s Bhushan Steel, which was forced into insolvency proceedings last year, reports financial portal moneycontrol.com.
"ArcelorMittal has shown interest in buying, and the government-owned SAIL needs money to buy. A joint bid makes sense," an unidentified senior banker told the website.
