Report: Hrusovsky Elected as CEO of Alton Steel

Hrusovsky will succeed Charlie Linnemeyer, who will remain at the company as a full-time senior adviser.
 
Hrusovsky has 31 years of experience in the steel industry, most recently as CEO for Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario-based Essar Steel Algoma. He also was CEO of Severstal Columbus, based in Dearborn, Mich.
 
Linnemeyer started at Alton Steel in 2003 and was named CEO in 2010. He plans to retire in the next few years, the company said.
 
Privately-held Alton Steel has 300 employees and produces more than 250,000 tons of steel a year serving the automotive, mining and energy industries. It does not disclose annual revenue.
