Report: EVRAZ North America CEO Resigns
07/18/2019 - EVRAZ North America president chief executive Conrad Winkler reportedly is stepping down and is to be replaced by a veteran executive in the oilfield services industry, reports The Pueblo (Colo.) Chieftain newspaper.
According to The Chieftain, Winkler announced his resignation through an internal email sent Monday night. Citing the letter, the newspaper said Winkler will be succeeded by Skip Herald, who serves as chief executive of Axip Energy Services, based in Houston, Texas, USA.
The newspaper also reported that the wording of the letter suggests that EVRAZ is poised to greenlight construction of its US$480 million solar-powered rail mill at its Rocky Mountain Steel facility.
