Report: ArcelorMittal Divests Stake in Indian Steelmaker
02/07/2018 - ArcelorMittal is cashing out its stake in India’s Uttam Galva, freeing it to bid on troubled steel assets elsewhere in the country, reports India’s Business Standard.
According to the newspaper, the world’s largest steelmaker is preparing to sell its shares in the business for INR1 (about US$0.02) each. Uttam Galva shares have averaged INR24 in the past six months, the newspaper said.
