Reliance Steel & Aluminum Names New Corporate Officers

Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. announced the appointment of two additional officers: James D. Hoffman as Senior Vice President—Operations, and Colleen A. Wolf as Chief Information Officer.
 
Hoffman, 50, joined the Earle M. Jorgensen Co. (which is now a subsidiary of Reliance Steel & Aluminum) in 1991, where he has served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President since 2006. Prior to joining Earle M. Jorgenson, he worked at various positions at United States Steel Corp. (from 1980 to 1991). Hoffman graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. degree in Advertising/Marketing.
 
Prior to joining Reliance, Colleen Wolf, 44, served as Vice President of North American Business Systems for Starbucks Coffee Co. She also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of New Century Financial Corp., and spent ten years in various positions in the Information Technology organization of Mattel, Inc., most recently as Vice President, Supply Chain and Corporate Finance Systems. She received a B. S. degree in Computing Science from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
