Reliance Celebrates 15 Years on the NYSE, 70 Years as a Company
09/16/2009 - Reliance Steel & Aluminum celebrates 15 years as a public company by ringing The Closing Bell® at the New York Stock Exchange.
Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. celebrated its 15th year as a public company and its listing on the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday by ringing The Closing Bell® at the Exchange.
Reliance Chairman and CEO David Hannah attended the ceremony along with Gregg Mollins, President and COO; Karla Lewis, Executive Vice President and CFO, and Kim Feazle, Investor Relations.
“We are proud to be here today to celebrate our 15th year as a listed company on the NYSE and our company’s 70th anniversary,” said Hannah. “Since our IPO on September 16, 1994, Reliance’s revenues have grown from $447 million in 1994 to $8.7 billion in 2008. Additionally, our stock price has grown at a compound annual rate in excess of 17% over the last 15 years.
