Red Bud Industries Delivers Two Lines
02/21/2025 - Quality Metals has installed a Red Bud Industries precision blanking line and a light-gauge slitting line in their Houston, Texas, USA, facility.
According to a press release, both machines can go up to 1.5 mm material thickness by 1,524 mm material width with a coil capacity of 30,000 lbs. Both machines’ productivity will be monitored by a time tracker.
The company said the blanking line will produce flat, close tolerance parts using a roller leveler, inspection area and grip feed system. It also features a traversing uncoiler, top side film applicator, thread system, high-speed shear, and drop stacker.
Red Bud equipped the light-gauge slitting line with their CNC semiautomatic slitting head. It also features divider tooling, a scrap winder to collect edge trim scrap, and an exit shear. An exit coil lift and turnstile will move and store slit coils before packaging.
