Randstad Honors SAIL for HR Practices, Employer Branding
07/14/2011 - Maharatna Steel Authority of India Limited was recently honored with the prestigious Randstad Award for 2011.
Maharatna Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) was recently honored with the prestigious Randstad Award for 2011. SAIL won the award under the ‘Manufacturing Industries’ category.
The Randstad Awards were instituted in 2000 by Ma Foi Randstad, which is a part of Randstad, the world’s second largest HR services company. The awards were established to encourage best practices and to build ‘Employer Brand’.
Randstad is giving awards in India for the first time to the “Most Attractive Employer” brand based on extensive online research to gauge “Employer’s image” among the potential workforce and the working public. Employers are evaluated on 17 different factors, including job security, salary, working atmosphere, job content, work-life balance, future prospects, values, training and management.
Shri B. B. Singh, Director (Personnel) received the award from Dr. Bimal Jalan, Ex-Governor, RBI in an award function held at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi on 29th June 2011.
