Process Technology International, INTECO to Supply Equipment for Frisa’s New Melt Shop
12/05/2014 - Process Technology International LLC has received an order from INTECO to supply the chemical energy system, carbon injection, lime injection, a sidewall sample and temperature taking device along with PTI's innovative swingdoor for Frisa's new melt shop located in Monterey, Mexico.
Frisa is a leading producer of rolled rings and open die forgings. The new plant consists of an electric arc furnace (EAF), a ladle furnace (LF), a vacuum degassing plant (VD), a material handling system and an ingot casting (IC) area. The plant engineering will be carried out by INTECO special melting technologies GmbH. The start of the new steel plant is scheduled for beginning of 2016.
