The order includes two basic oxygen furnace (LD) converters, two ladle furnaces, gas cleaning and dedusting systems, two slab casters, as well as level 1 and level 2 automation systems, according to a company press release.

Primetals Technologies will be responsible for “engineering, supply of equipment, and advisory services for erection and commissioning” of the equipment in the new mill.

All of the equipment will be furnished with advanced technology and the meltshop and casters fitted with features to make them ready for Industry 4.0, the company said.
