Primetals Technologies Signs On for Maintenance Service Contract With JSW Dolvi
10/21/2022 - The contract covers comprehensive maintenance services, including spare parts, for the new continuous slab casters at JSW Dolvi in Maharashtra, India, the equipment supplier announced yesterday.
Primetals Technologies was awarded the contract for the two slab casters in 2017, which started up in 2021.
The three-year maintenance service contract is intended to increase equipment lifetime and improve product quality.
“To ensure continuous production and to further improve product quality, we decided to collaborate with a reliable supplier in the metallurgical services business. We are confident that the productivity of the plant and the quality of the steel produced at the Dolvi steel plant will set new industry benchmarks,” said Amit Sakar, JSW Dolvi vice president.
