According to Primetals Technologies, the mill enhances product quality and delivery times while increasing Kobe’s competitiveness within the steel plate market. The mill is capable of processing plates in thicknesses from 4.5 mm to 360 mm and in widths of 1,000 mm to 4,500 mm. 

Primetals Technologies was responsible for the supply of core mechanical equipment, auxiliary and ancillary technologies, as well as on-site supervision for construction work and implementation.
