Primetals Technologies Pursues Fully Digitalized Scrap Yards
11/11/2021 - Primetals Technologies announced in a press release today that it has entered into a cooperation agreement with scrap processing specialist SICON to develop holistic solutions for the digitization of scrap yards.
Detection of foreign materials in the scrap and the complete automation of logistics processes are growing increasingly important. The two companies will work to automate and digitalize processes from delivery of the scrap to feeding of the melting unit.
