According to Primetals Technologies, the mill will process square billets in cross sections of 130, 160 and 200 mm and convert them to rounds in diameters ranging from 17 mm to 33 mm. The mill also will feed a bar mill to be added in the future. 

Primetals Technologies said the mill will have a yearly capacity of 650,000 metric tons and process carbon, special bar quality and austenitic stainless steel grades, catering to the engineering and automotive industries in both domestic and export markets.

The order includes the entry and exit systems; a high-pressure water descaler; 20 Red Ring Series 5 rolling stands, the last eight of which will be equipped with quick-change units; and five cropping shears. Electrical equipment includes the main and auxiliary drives and motors, a new level 1 automation system and human-machine interface.
