Posco-Vietnam Hosts Employee Family Day
10/07/2011 - Posco-Vietnam recently hosted the first “Family Day” event of the year for its employees and their families. The company plans to organize the special event every month until the end of the year.
Posco-Vietnam recently hosted the first “Family Day” event of the year for its employees and their families. The company plans to organize the special event every month until the end of the year.
Last year, the company hosted 11 such events for a total of 198 Posco-Vietnam employees and 387 family members. The event is aimed to promote mutual understanding between the company and its employees, which in turn is expected to help the staff members carry out their roles successfully.
The Family Day program included a briefing on the 43-year history of Posco for families of the employees, with focuses on how much Posco-Vietnam means to Posco’s growth in the South-East Asian markets.
The program was begun with a tour of the company’s production facilities and the dormitories where the employees live, which was followed by an open forum and lunch.
