POSCO Lays Plans for Hydrogen Production
12/15/2020 - South Korea’s POSCO plans to ramp up hydrogen production capacity over the next 30 years and will begin laying investments in hydrogen infrastructure, reports South Korean business magazine BusinessKorea.
According to the publication, the steelmaker plans to lift hydrogen production to 5 million metric tons annually by 2050. It makes approximately 7,000 metric tons now from byproduct gases generated through its steelmaking operations.
