Posco Launches New Processing Center in Turkey
11/01/2010 - Posco recently launched its new automotive steel-processing center in the Hasanaga Industrial Complex in the city of Nilufer, Brusa Province, to provide global automakers with high-quality automotive steel products. The Posco Turkey Nilufer Processing Center will also seek to expand its sales network to household steel products.
Posco recently launched its new automotive steel-processing center in the Hasanaga Industrial Complex in the city of Nilufer, Brusa Province, to provide global automakers with high-quality automotive steel products.
The Posco Turkey Nilufer Processing Center (Posco-TNPC) will seek to expand its sales network to both automotive and household steel products in the city of Izmir, the third largest city of Turkey located on the west coast of the country.
The opening celebration for Posco-TNPC featured more than 150 distinguished guests including Executive Vice President Shin Jung-seok and other Posco representatives, Brusa Province officials, Korea’s ambassador to Turkey, and representatives from Posco’s car-making partners including Renault, Fiat, and Hyundai.
“We will do what we can do to make Brusa Province the hub for the Turkish auto industry,” Jung-seok said.
Turkey’s Northwestern region has become a key production base for global automakers and some 200 automotive part makers, including Renault, Fiat, Ford, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, Bosch, Delphi, and Valeo.
