04/17/2012 - Posco-ICPC recently celebrated the 41st National Safety Day that featured high-profile government officials and included a safety quiz for shop-floor employees, after which the workers with the top five scores were given prizes.

Several inspectors presented their personal experiences to drive home the importance of safety. Among the participants was C. Gnana Sekara Babu Rao, joint chief inspector of factories, who emphasized the importance of knowledge and proper safety equipment.
S. Kumar, a factory inspector who also joined the event, added his own experiences, sharing that employees “should never be overconfident about using safety equipment and following the rules, under any circumstances.”
