Posco Holds Tech Fair for Japanese Automakers

Posco is holding a series of technology fairs mainly aimed at its Japanese customers that manufacture automotive products in an effort to consolidate its sales foundation.

The exhibition started with Suzuki Motors on May 14. The Korean steelmaker plans to open its exhibition for Nissan on June 9-10, followed by one at Honda Motors on June 22. Posco held a similar event at Toyota Motors in October last year, with about 1200 guests from the Japanese carmakers and their affiliates participating.

Posco expects to introduce its global sales network and the various auto parts made of its steel products to Japanese makers at these fairs. It aims to present its achievement in EVI (Early Vendor Involvement) activities and car sheets-related technologies to potential customers.
