In Italy, Acciaieria Arvedi’s Cremona works will be installing Polytec’s PolySAMPLE EAF system at its 370-metric-ton electric arc furnace. The system is fully automatic and can be used for both temperature measurement and sampling.

In France, stainless long products maker Ugitech is adding a PolyCAST robot to its Ugine facility, where it will be used to set and remove shrouds on the continuous caster. The robot is to be installed during the next scheduled outage.
