Plibrico Materials Division Focuses on West Coast Growth with New Hire
01/13/2014 - Plibrico Co. LLC is pleased to welcome Paul Schmidt as the new Plibrico Refractory Materials Division area sales manager for the Western United States and Canada.
With over 25 years of experience in refractory and insulation materials sales, Mr. Schmidt will be providing the highest level of expertise to Plibrico’s customers.
“Paul will bring a wealth of knowledge to Plibrico’s Materials Division,” said Bob Hunter, vice president sales and marketing of Plibrico Company. “His experience includes refractory and high-temperature insulation sales to distributors and end users across many of the markets we serve — cement, lime, boilers, power, ceramic, pulp/paper, ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals. Paul will service our customers and PliPartners throughout the Western United States and Canada.”
Prior to joining Plibrico, Mr. Schmidt has held sales and management positions with Allied Minerals, Unifrax Corporation, U.S. Castings and Nutec Fibratec. Paul holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in production and operations management from Ohio State University.
