PGT Trucking Signs LOI With Nikola for 100 FCEV Trucks
10/28/2021 - Nikola Corp., a provider of zero-emissions transportation solutions, announced its collaboration with PGT Trucking Inc. (PGT), which includes a Letter of Intent (LOI) to lease 100 Nikola Tre heavy-duty fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).
Deliveries of the vehicles to PGT are expected to begin in 2023 when production commences at Nikola’s manufacturing facility in Arizona.
The order will include the Nikola Tre FCEV, which features an anticipated range up to 500 miles, according to Nikola; scheduled maintenance; and hydrogen fueling solutions.
