Parsytec to Supply Surface Inspection Systems for Sandvik

Sandvik Materials Technology, Sweden, has placed an order with Parsytec AG for two surface inspection systems for one of their stainless AP lines. Parsytec will also supply its exclusive Yield Management application.
Parsytec’s system incorporates advanced inspection software with superior image handling and defect classification. The automatic Classifier Build Environment (CBE) enables intuitive classifier building for enhanced operator-friendliness and fast production results.
The order includes the parsytec 5i standard application, “Coil Decision”, which automatically generates objective and reproducible decisions about the produced coil quality and resulting tentative actions. Coils are judged according to rule sets integrating inspection- and other quality-related data.
