Parsytec to Supply Surface Inspection for Benxi Strip Mills
06/25/2007 - Benxi Iron & Steel Group orders two high-end surface inspection systems from Parsytec for two hot strip mills at its facility in Benxi, China.
Benxi Iron & Steel Group, Ltd. ordered two high-end surface inspection systems from Parsytec for its mill in Benxi, China.
Parsytec will equip the facility’s Hot Strip Mill No. 1, which is currently being revamped, with Parsytec’s surface inspection system. The facility’s Hot Strip Mill No. 3 will be equipped with espresso SI as well.
Factors influencing Benxi’s decision to use Parsytec’s inspection systems included espresso SI’s all-digital system architecture and the newly released automated Classifier Build Environment CBE’s user-friendly user interfaces. The order was placed via Parsytec’s sales partner TME GE Automation Systems, who is supplying the automation for these two hot strip mills.
