Outotec Announces Changes in Executive Board
10/01/2014 - Adel Hattab joined Outotec on 1 October 2014 as the executive vice president and president of EMEA region. He will be a member of Outotec's Executive Board.
Adel Hattab holds a degree of M.Sc. (Eng) from Helsinki University of Technology, Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy as well as MBA from a joint program between Helsinki School of Economics and MIT, with major in Finance. Hattab was born in Germany in 1962, and is Finnish citizen. He has previously worked as SVP, EMEA for Metso Automation, and prior to that he has held several international senior leader positions in areas of sales, marketing and general management in Wärtsilä, BAC Engineering and Nokia.
Dr. Peter Weber, who has been responsible for Outotec's EMEA region, left his duties as of 30 September 2014. Peter Weber joined the company in 1992, and has been a member of Outotec Executive Board since 2006.
