In a statement, Böllinghaus said it will now be able to offer Outokumpu 8 to 25 mm hexagonal and square bars in the countries. The agreement furthers a 20-year relationship and builds on a similar one signed a year ago, said Böllinghaus chief sales officer Antonio Perea. 

“We have found clear benefits for our customers from the cooperation agreement and are happy to widen the partnership with Outokumpu to cover the German and U.K. markets,” he said. 

“Böllinghaus Steel has invested in a new warehouse and stock in Portugal, which enables quicker deliveries for our key markets in central Europe. This agreement and enhanced services enable us to offer a complete product range through Europe and Asia and (provide) a platform for further growth.”
