Outokumpu Appoints New Americas President

In an announcement Tuesday, Outokumpu said Tamara Weinert will take over as president immediately. She succeeds Olli-Matti Saksi, who has resigned from the position and will continue his career outside the company. He was named president in May 2019.

Outokumpu president and chief executive Heikki Malinen.

Outokumpu’s Americas operations include a fully integrated mill in Calvert, Ala., USA, a stainless steel finishing mill in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and a service center in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
