OMK Taps Danieli for New MES at Seamless Pipe Complex
10/27/2021 - Danieli will install its Q3-MET manufacturing execution system (MES) at the Russian steelmaker’s new seamless pipe complex in Vyksa.
According to Danieli, this is its fourth MES order from OMK, and the system will interface with those previously installed. Activities for customization and installation of the system are in progress.
The complex will produce 500,000 metric tons per year of oil country tubular goods products.
