OMK's Trubodetal Plant Increases Efficiency of Occupational Training

Automation of self-training and knowledge testing of the plant’s employees started at Trubodetal in early 2013. The OLYMP:OKS system allows for efficiently managing the process of training and the competence assessment of managers and specialists involved in use of hazardous production facilities, as well as of employees whose work is subject to control by the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision (Gosnadzor). These professions are sling operators, heat-treaters, crane operators, etc. In order to train themselves, Trubodetal’s employees may use a rich database of educational materials, regulatory documents and the archive of the technical documents available in the new system. Installation of the OLYMP:OKS system for assessing competence, training or preparing the company’s employees for specialized exams in professions being subject to control by Gosnadzor will eliminate the necessity for the employees to attend any other educational institutions.
Trubodetal’s managing director Igor Voronin said, “Trubodetal’s managers actively contribute to employees’ professional development. Two years ago, we opened a specialized training center and constantly improve its functionality. The training and control system implemented will enable the plant’s employees to get new knowledge and take exams on the job in short time. We help our employees develop professionally, while the company gets good specialists.”
