Official: Despite Opposition, Deal Between thyssenkrupp Management, Labor Over Tata Merger Is Attainable
10/04/2017 - The premier of thyssenkrupp’s home state, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, said he believes a deal between the company and its union employees could be reached over the proposed combination of its steel unit with Tata Steel, according to the Reuters news service.
Labor leaders are opposed to the deal on fears that thousands of steel jobs are at risk.
