OAO Severstal Announces New Head of Investor Relations

OAO Severstal recently announced the appointment of Vladimir Zaluzhsky as Head of Investor Relations, effective July 1, 2010.

In his new position, Zaluzhsky’s responsibilities will include overseeing communications with investors and financial analysts.
 
Dmitry Druzhinin, who held the position of the Head of Investor Relations since 2002, will stay with the company for two additional months in order to ensure a smooth transition of Investor Relation functions. In a published statement, the company expressed its appreciation to Druzhinin “for his fruitful work” and wished him “every success in future”.

Prior to joining Severstal, Zaluzhsky held various communications positions at a Scandinavian private equity fund Mint Capital, at the steel and mining company Mechel, and at the communications agencies Delovaya Liga and ETC Partners.

Zaluzhsky graduated from the Moscow State Linguistic University and the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. He also is completing a postgraduate course at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
