In a statement, Fives said the new packaging system will be capable of bundling tubes in lengths from 18 feet to 80 feet with wall thickness of up to 5/8”. Fives said the system will improve productivity and reliability while increasing safety by moving away from manual packaging and strapping operations.

Additionally, Fives will equip the same line with a new cut-off. 

“This new cut-off will be a multi-mode cut-off machine which allows for improved quality cuts while maximizing the cutting speeds,” Fives said.
