Nucor Scrap Subsidiary Names New President
12/18/2020 - Scrap metal recycler The David J. Joseph Co. (DJJ) has promoted company veteran Mark Schaefer as president, the Nucor Corp. subsidiary said on Wednesday.
Schaefer, who joined DJJ in 1985, succeeds Craig Feldman, who will remain a Nucor executive vice president located in Charlotte, N.C., USA.
Schaefer has served in a number of roles, including as brokerage representative and district manager in the ferrous trading business; vice president of logistic services; president of U-Pull & Pay; and as DJJ’s executive vice president of both the recycling and brokerage groups.
He is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and earned his M.B.A. from Denver University.
