Nucor General Manager Promoted to EVP  

Nucor said in an announcement that Ford has been named executive vice president of fabricated construction products. His promotion took effect Sunday. 

"Brad is an exceptional leader who consistently delivers strong results. His experience in the industry for more than 20 years has positioned him well to take on this challenging role. We look forward to his contributions to the executive leadership team," said Leon Topalian, Nucor's chair, president and chief executive officer.

Ford began his career in 2001 as a brokerage representative at The David J. Joseph Co. (DJJ), which Nucor acquired in 2008. He later served as district manager and international trading manager.

In 2013, he became commercial vice president at DJJ subsidiary Trademark Metals Recycling LLC. In 2015, he was named Trademark Metals president, a position he held until 2020, when he became general manager of Vulcraft-Indiana. Ford was named a Nucor vice president in 2022.
