Novolipetsk Recognized as Best Russian Exporter
06/07/2011 - Novolipetsk Steel has been awarded the title "Best Russian Exporter 2010" in a contest held by the Russian Ministry of Industry & Trade.
Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) has been awarded the title "Best Russian Exporter 2010" in a contest held by the Russian Ministry of Industry & Trade.
The company has been recognized as the best exporter in its industry (ferrous metallurgy). The award was based on an assessment of documents submitted by competing companies and calculations made through the examination of indices of consolidated export reports.
Contest applications were reviewed by the Department of External Economic Relations and the Russian Ministry of Industry & Trade.
The award ceremony is to be held June 23 in Moscow.
Novolipetsk is one of the largest producers of steel and steel products in Russia. In 2010 the share of exports in the company’s total sales was 72% in quantitative terms and 63% in monetary terms. The company's exports are widely diversified geographically and target almost 60 countries of the world.
