Northwest Pipe to Supply Pipe for South-North Intertie Pipeline

Northwest Pipe Co. has been named as the supplier to the South–North Intertie Pipeline, owned by Antelope Valley—East Kern Water Agency.

Northwest Pipe will furnish approximately 81,000 feet of 48-inch diameter welded steel pipe and custom engineered fittings by S.J. Louis Construction of Mansfield, Texas. The pipe order is valued at approximately $9.5 million.

The company said it will manufacture the pipe at it Adelanto, Calif., facility. Delivery will start in early third quarter 2009 and is to be completed by the end of the year.
