Northwest Pipe Announces Promotions

Northwest Pipe Co. announced three management promotions, beginning with Winsor Jenkins, who was named Vice President—Human Resources. In addition, Gary Stone was named Vice President—Quality Assurance, and Greg Carrier was named Vice President—Purchasing.

Winsor Jenkins joined the company in 1998 as Director of Human Resources. Since that time, he has been instrumental in bringing new safety programs to the company and upgrading its training programs. Prior to joining Northwest Pipe, he worked primarily in the forest products industry, most recently for Pope & Talbot, Inc.

Gary Stone has been with Northwest Pipe for sixteen years. He led design and development of the company's quality assurance systems, and has helped the company to achieve internationally recognized certifications. He previously worked for Harder Mechanical Contractors.

Greg Carrier started at Northwest Pipe in 1996, and in 2001 was appointed Director of Materials. He has been responsible for managing major raw material purchases for all of the company's locations and has recently expanded into additional purchasing activities. He has spent his entire career in manufacturing and purchasing capacities.

"Each of these gentlemen has made a significant mark on the Northwest Pipe of today," said Brian W. Dunham, President and CEO. "More important is the impact I believe they will have on the company in the future as we continue to develop and expand."

Northwest Pipe Co. manufactures welded steel pipe and other products in three business segments. Its Water Transmission Group is a leading supplier of large diameter, high-pressure steel pipe products that are used primarily for water infrastructure in North America.
