Northwest Pipe Announces New Orders
06/12/2007 - Northwest Pipe Co. has been named as pipe supplier by Garney Construction for a water transmission pipeline for Johnson County Water District, and by Mountain Cascade for the Freeport Regional Authority Project near Sacramento.
Northwest Pipe Co. has been named as pipe supplier by Garney Construction Co. of Kansas City, Mo., for a water transmission pipeline for Johnson County Water District.
The company will supply approximately 28,000 feet of steel pipe valued at approximately $8 million for this project, which is an engineered and custom fabricated piping system. The company expects to manufacture the pipe at its Denver, Colo., division with delivery scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2007.
The company was also recently named as pipe supplier by Mountain Cascade, Inc. of Livermore, Calif., for the Freeport Regional Authority Project near Sacramento. For this project, Northwest Pipe will supply approximately 27,000 feet of 84-inch diameter steel pipe valued at approximately $11 million.
This project, an engineered and custom fabricated piping system, will be installed in the Freeport Pipeline Facilities Project. The company expects to manufacture the pipe in its Portland, Ore., or Adelanto, Calif., division, with delivery scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2007.
