Northwest Pipe Adds Steel Exec to Board of Directors

Northwest Pipe Co. announced the election of James E. Declusin, former CEO of Oregon Steel Mills, Inc. and Evraz Inc. NA, to its board of directors.

Declusin has over 40 years of experience in the steel industry, including 17 years with Kaiser Steel Corp. followed by time at California Steel Industries as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.

After retiring from California Steel in 2000, Declusin was appointed to the Oregon Steel board of directors, later becoming President and CEO of the company.

Four years later, when Oregon Steel was sold to Evraz Group, Declusin continued on as CEO until his retirement earlier this year.

"Jim brings valuable perspective and experience to Northwest Pipe," said William R. Tagmyer, Chairman of the board. "I am very pleased that he is joining our board at this time."
