North Star Bluescope Steel Reaches Two Years Without a Lost-Time Injury
10/09/2013 - North Star Bluescope Steel LLC, in Delta, Ohio, recently announced that it has reached two years without a lost-time injury.
Rich Menzel, vice president of human resources at North Star Bluescope Steel, said, “We are very proud of our safety record.” The plant has been in operation for 17 years, and 12 of those years are lost-time-injury free. The plant’s longest amount of time without a lost-time injury is 4.5 years.
