North American Galvanizing & Coatings Opens Tulsa Technical Center
01/09/2008 - North American Galvanizing & Coatings officially opens a new Technical Center in Tulsa that will house the company’s expanding Engineering Department.
North American Galvanizing & Coatings, Inc. has officially opened a new Technical Center in Tulsa, Okla.
The company will house its Engineering Department, which is currently undergoing an expansion, in the new Technical Center. With its expansion, the Engineering Department will incorporate an expanded customer "Tech Support" function as well as product and process development activities.
"The Technical Center will allow us to expand our internal operational development and customer support activities,” said Ronald J. Evans, President & CEO commented. “We look forward to offering all our customers expanded technical service and guidance on their product design and performance criteria as they pertain to hot dip galvanizing."
The company expects to utilize the new facility to expand internal company support activities, with a primary focus on projects to enhance plant operating efficiencies, reduce energy usage and improve product quality, according to Kevin Halstead, the company’s Director of Engineering. The company will also continue to support current operations on capital projects, environmental compliance, and safety.
North American Galvanizing is a leading provider of hot-dip galvanizing and coatings for corrosion protection of fabricated steel products. The company conducts its galvanizing and coating business through a network of
plants located in Canton, Ohio; Denver, Hurst (Dallas/Forth Worth), Houston, Kansas City, Louisville, Nashville, St. Louis, and the Tulsa area.
