According to NLMK, the third stage will entail installation of a radial thickener, slurry pipelines, and above-ground process water piping, among other things. This part of the project represents a RUB1.5 billion investment. 

Not only will the project will enable Stoilensky to switch to a more efficient system of processing, transporting, and storing waste ore, but the thickening unit will also ensure stable beneficiation operations as production ramps up in 2021, it said.
