NLMK Creates New Position of Executive Vice President

NLMK, a leading global steel company, announced the appointment of Oleg Bagrin, a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee, to the newly created position of Executive Vice-President.
 
The appointment of a Member of the Board of Directors to the Company’s top management will ensure timely transmission and monitoring of the Board’s decisions.
 
Oleg Bagrin is a member of NLMK Group Board of Directors since 2004. He is Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Bagrin is a Board member of a number of NLMK subsidiary companies, including NLMK International B.V. (Netherlands), NLMK Pennsylvania Corp., NLMK Indiana LLC, Sharon Coating LLC. (USA).
 
Mr. Bagrin is Managing director of Libra Capital, a Moscow-based investment management company. He is a Board member of Freight One, a railroad transportation company, and a member of the Council of Non-state Pension Fund Social Development.
 
Mr. Bagrin holds a graduate degree in Operations Research and a post-graduate degree in Economics from State Management University, Moscow and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cambridge, UK.
