NISCO Issues FAC for New Rolling Equipment
06/24/2021 - Bar and wire rod specialist Friedrich KOCKS GmbH & Co. KG has received the final acceptance certificate for a new reducing and sizing block installed at a Chinese special steel mill.
According to KOCKS, Nanjing Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. (NISCO) has signed off on its new 3-roll unit at its 800,000-metric-tons-per-year medium bar mill. The block serves as the finishing unit for straight bars in diameters of 50 mm to 160 mm.
In addition to the rolling equipment, KOCKS provided five water boxes and a full automation package.
