Nippon Steel: We Would Make Pittsburgh Our U.S. HQ
03/21/2024 - Nippon Steel is promising to move its U.S. headquarters from Texas to Pittsburgh, Pa., should its planned acquisition of United States Steel Corporation come to pass, the Reuters news service reports.
"Not only are we keeping the Pittsburgh headquarters — which other bidders would not be able to do — but we are planning to move Nippon Steel's existing U.S. headquarters from Houston to Pittsburgh," said Nippon Steel executive vice president Takahiro Mori, according to Reuters.
