Nippon Steel Looks Overseas for Growth

09/02/2020 - Nippon Steel Corp. is seeking merger and acquisition opportunities, just not at home in Japan, reports the Reuters news service.

“We are not considering to proceed with any further M&As in Japan, but we want to seek M&As overseas," company president Eiji Hashimoto said during a news conference.

According to Reuters, India, the U.S. and the ASEAN countries are Nippon Steel’s key growth markets.
