Clear Thinking Group to Serve as Liquidation Trustee for Slater Steel

30 March 2005 - Clear Thinking Group, LLC, and Joseph E. Myers, a partner and managing director, have been appointed liquidation trustee for Slater Steel, Inc. The appointment became effective with confirmation of the company's Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Delaware.

Slater Steel Reaches Agreement on Sale of Sorel Forge

04 February 2004 - Sorel Forge Inc., a subsidiary of Slater Steel, has entered into a definitive agreement to sell substantially all of its assets, on a going-concern basis, to the Tricap Restructuring Fund. The transaction, which is expected to close on, or about, March 1, 2004, is subject to certain conditions, including approval from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
